Description

Please join the City of Philadelphia, PennDOT, and the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation as we show the latest design ideas for the new Penn's Landing, a future 12 acre public space that will run from Chestnut Street to Walnut Street, Front Street to the River, connecting the city to its waterfront.

Learn about the engineering of the cap, the design evolution, and give your input on how you would use the space. Food, drinks, and children's activities will be provided.

Come by anytime between 6:00 and 8:00 pm and learn more about this exciting new space, coming soon to Philadelphia's waterfront!


5:00 pm: OPTIONAL site tours (please register for a tour when you click on "Tickets". Only registered participants will be able to join a tours. Each tour will be capped at 25 participants. Self-guided tours will be available between 5:00 and 6:00 pm as well.)

6:00-6:30 pm: Public Presentation

6:30-8:00 pm: Open House

DIRECTIONS: The meeting will take place at the Lodge at Summerfest/Winterfest, located between Market Street and Chestnut Street on the Delaware River.


BY BUS
SEPTA Bus Routes 21 & 42 stop at The Great Plaza at Penn's Landing and Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest at the Chestnut Street turnaround. Routes 17, 33, & 48 stop at Front and Market Streets. Route 12 stops directly at Spruce Street Harbor Park Presented by Univest at Columbus Blvd and Dock Street. Route 25 runs along Columbus Blvd.


BY RAIL
Take the SEPTA Market-Frankford Elevated Line (the Blue line) to the Second Street Stop. From there, head East over the Market Street Bridge. The Blue Cross RiverRink and Great Plaza at Penn's Landing will be straight ahead.

BY BIKE
Bike parking is located along the waterfront with a large corral located at Spruce Street Harbor Park Presented by Univest/Valley Green Bank.

BY RIDE INDEGO
Philly's bike share program, Indego, has four easy-access stations within walking distance. These include: The Race Street Pier (190 N Christopher Columbus Blvd), 2nd and Market (215 Market St.), Welcome Park NPS (191 S. 2nd St.), and Foglietta Plaza 3 Dock St.
