Overview

A Nutcracker as magical, spooky, lively, and funky as our beautiful city New Orleans.

The New Orleans Nutcracker is rewritten each year to take place in New Orleans and offer new surprises. Nola, our main character, receives a Voodoo doll from Marie Laveau then is transported throughout the city for magical adventures that range from joyful to spooky to mesmerizingly beautiful. Come see the City Park Oaks dance, Jackson square artists entertain, snow gracefully fall on St Louis cemetery, and so much more! This show is exciting from start to finish. All roles are danced by local dancers. Local music abounds. Enjoy live holiday music by local musicians as you arrive at the theater! Come celebrate our beloved city and these young hardworking artists!
