The NBM welcomes Andy Coco's NOLA Funk and Rhythm & Blues Revue
Overview
The National Blues Museum is thrilled to welcome Andy Coco’s NOLA Funk and Rhythm & Blues Revue to the Legends Room for an unforgettable night of groove, soul, and Crescent City spirit!
Built to celebrate the rich musical connection between St. Louis, Memphis, and New Orleans, this dynamic band delivers a powerful mix of Rhythm & Blues, Funk, and Soul—a true riverfront revival of the sounds that shaped America’s music.
You’ll hear tributes to the greats like Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, The Meters, Booker T. & the MG’s, Al Green, Albert King, Grant Green, and Louis Prima, among others.
As Andy Coco puts it:
“The Mississippi River connects us through our music, with how broad the influences and overlaps are. The city of NOLA and the region are the real melting pot of our nation, where cultures were allowed to be both traditional and progressive at the same time, melding and mixing into the great richness of flavor and style.”
Come ready to move, groove, and celebrate the deep southern soul that flows from the Mississippi to the heart of St. Louis.
