The More-Than-One Joy Plan: Bringing More Joy into Your Relationships
With Anna D. Hirsch, MFA, MS

How do we plan for joy in relationships? What happens when our plans fall apart?

It makes sense that people enter into relationships that bring them happiness and positive feelings — feelings that they want to continue. But despite their best intentions, people often find themselves in downward spirals of relationship negativity and the spark beginning to fade.

Our plans for lasting joy fall apart in part because we don’t know the psychological and cultural underpinnings into how joy develops socially.

In this joyful workshop, Anna D. Hirsch, MFA, MS, will share how the science and meaning of shared joy can create upward spirals of love, connection, and freedom. Over the course of two hours, you will:
- learn current science on cross-cultural concepts of sympathetic joy, compersion, and mudita;
- learn something new about shared joy, becoming a joy ambassador in your community;
- uncover personal patterns in planning for joy with others; and
- plan for more joy together.

Through open information sharing and invitations into personal and interpersonal experiences in the room, Anna will join you in exploring the art of bringing more joy into all of your relationships.

This workshop is made for all people in all situations and identities. Everyone is welcome to attend.
