Brought to you by two of St. Louis’ most exciting artists Jackson Stokes and Mattie Schell. Both band leaders and professional singer songwriters, Jackson and Mattie are joining forces for a fun filled night of music. Expect heavy grooves, soaring harmonies, and searing guitar solos. Backed by one super group of musicians and featuring different regional guest artists every night, this show features two sets of original music from each artist. After Jackson and Mattie’s original sets, a Super Set of familiar songs along with guest sit ins, collaborations, and much more closing out the night. No night will be the same, no town the same, climb aboard and don’t miss your ride on the Midwest Express.

Jackson Stokes is an original soul-rock singer-songwriter and road-dog from St. Louis, MO. Playing professionally for over half of his life, 31 y.o. Jackson has toured all 50 states in 49 days for a world record and 4 different continents through his work as the guitarist of the Devon Allman Project, Tonina, and with his own band. Stokes has co-written and played on multiple charting records including Devon Allman’s Ride or Die which went #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts. Jackson released his EP “ Passengers” last year. He also just recorded a live studio record in his hometown with hopes to be released in 2025. He has opened and guested with numerous acts such as Robert Cray, Eric Gales, Lucas Nelson, Samantha Fish, Ivan Neville, Eric Krasno, The Allman Betts Band, and Robert Randolph.

Mattie Schell is a Compass Records artist based in St. Louis, Missouri. Half of regional favorites River Kittens, Mattie has also toured as a featured artist with the Allman Betts Family Revival for the entirety of their 2021-2023 seasons, and is a featured performer on 2025’s Merlefest. Mattie’s original and emotional voice feels equally at home in rock, soul, country, and jazz. Keep an eye out for her debut album on Compass, coming Spring 2025.
