Six hours is a long time. Should I bring lunch?

Your ticket includes lunch -ordered at registration.  A boxed lunch from Hope Valley Catering comes with a choice of side, a cookie or brownie, condiments and sweet or unsweetened tea. Additionally, there will be coffee (regular and decaffeinated), hot tea, and iced water throughout the day.

Will there be vegetarian/vegan lunch and snack options?

Yes, when you order your meal on each  event registration, there is an option to specify dietary requirements so that we are able to provide a appropriate lunch options.

Is this location compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act?

Yes, the Conference Center at NC BioTech has wheelchair-accessible tables, an elevator, ADA compliant bathrooms.

Are there quiet spaces I might go to if I need to regulate my nervous system?

Accepted Answer

Yes! The Conference Center at NC Biotech hosts only one event on Saturdays. Subsequently, there will be space outside of the event space and in the main lobby to sit in the relative quiet to regulate your nervous system. Additionally, there is a lovely garden outside of the building.

What if I get sick or cannot make one of the scheduled workshops? Are there refunds?

Accepted Answer

Refunds can be  available. However, if you are unable to attend a workshop you've purchased, please contact us. With a week's notice, we will work with you to forward your ticket to a future workshop or to transfer your ticket to another participant.
