A WORKSHOP ON THE MOST DANGEROUS TYPE OF NARCISSIST: THE MALIGNANT STYLE
They can come in covert or overt form, but the malignant narcissist has one thing in mind - absolute power, no matter who gets hurt in the process. Malignant a subtype of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) characterized by a combination of grandiosity, a need for admiration, and a lack of empathy, along with more severe symptoms like aggressiveness, manipulativeness, and abuse, often without remorse. These individuals may also experience paranoia and have a strong need for control, using others for personal gain and experiencing pleasure in inflicting harm.
In this workshop, we will pick apart this subtype and discuss the ways to cope and/or safely remove yourself from the clutch of this more serious type of narcissist.
YOUR ORGANIZER: Kay (Kerrin) grew up with a malignant overt narcissistic mother and knows the ins and outs of having a parent who seemed to care more about controlling her children rather than caring for them. I've been no contact with her for most of the past 23 years. I also have a history with a malignant grandiose possible sociopath possible narcissist and am still healing from that experience.
