About the book

From film producer Mark Joseph, a behind-the-scenes tour of the creation of the controversial movie that reached #1 at the box office. This journey spans from script development, hiring talent, and filming when COVID threatened to derail everything, to defying the critics who said Reagan could never be made. Critics attacked it, but the film earned a 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes' Popcornmeter, creating the greatest gap in the history of Hollywood with an 80-point difference between critics and moviegoers. This is the untold story of the 20-year odyssey of bringing Reagan to the big screen.
