Author Annie Agarwal will read from her beautifully illustrated book, The Magic of Diwali with Saara, a heartwarming story that introduces kids to the meaning and traditions of Diwali through the eyes of little Saara and her playful pug, Oreo. What will we do?
This is great for toddlers and children (ages 3 to 8 years old). They will enjoy a fun Diwali-themed activity, we will do some DIY crafts that follow the story line, light a LED safe diya :) and enjoy a traditional Indian/ South Asian sweet (nut free). Come dressed in festive colors, wear the brightest color from your wardrobe :), bring your little ones, and celebrate the spirit of lights, love, and togetherness with our community!
