How do I access the livestream?

This livestream will be broadcast via YouTube.

The YouTube link will immediately be emailed to you, and will also be accessible on Eventbrite's Online Event Page.

What does a ticket grant me access to?

Accepted Answer

Ticketholders unlock access to the livestream & replay on YouTube, plus the option to pre-order & purchase a download of the event for just $6.

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets no longer include a free download due to rising bandwidth costs.

Question 3

Can I watch this event on my TV?

Accepted Answer

Possibly!

Casting and AirPlay will be available for this livestream via YouTube.

Availability to cast or AirPlay depends largely on your own personal setup. Because of this, Dumb Industries is unable to assist with casting.

Question 4

Why do you no longer offer a free download of the event with my ticket?

Accepted Answer

Tickets are processed by Eventbrite while downloads are provided by Vimeo. Because Vimeo is not making any money from the ticket transaction, they charge us for any bandwidth usage related to the free download.

Question 5

Couldn't you just raise ticket prices to cover the bandwidth usage?

Accepted Answer

We looked into it, but because Eventbrite is solely processing the ticket transaction Vimeo would still charge us for the bandwidth usage. By separating the download transaction from your ticket, Vimeo receives a cut from the download transaction and leaves us alone.

What if I can't watch live?

Accepted Answer

Ticketholders gain access to watch a replay of the entire event on YouTube whenever they'd like. The replay will become available at the same link shortly after the event ends.

How do I access the discounted $6 download?

Accepted Answer

After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a link to pre-order and/or purchase the download for just $6. This offer does not expire. You can access this discount at any time.

You can also access this on Eventbrite's Online Event Page.

Question 8

Can I watch this from anywhere in the world?

Accepted Answer

Yes! As long as you have internet access, you can join this livestream.

Question 9

I can't afford a ticket. Can I get on the guest list?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you cannot afford a ticket for any reason at all just email chris@dumb-industries.com and you will be added to the guest list, no questions asked.

I didn't get an email with the livestream link or download instructions!

Accepted Answer

You don't need to rely on any emails to access this livestream or download. All you need to do is login to Eventbrite's Online Event Page.
