The Lighting of Avalon

Ring in the holidays with Avalon’s most enchanting event of the year! Enjoy an evening of festive fun along The Boulevard with live music, dazzling entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a special visit from Santa himself. The night culminates as we light our breathtaking 40-foot tree atop Concierge—officially welcoming the holiday season in style.

Event Schedule

2PM–3PM: Atlanta Figure Skating Club
Gather around the rink for a magical ice skating showcase featuring talented skaters of all ages.

3PM–5PM: Activity Row
Stroll The Boulevard for face painting, holiday crafts, photo booth fun, and more festive surprises!

3PM–10PM: Avalon On Ice
Lace up your skates—Avalon on Ice opens to the public at 3PM.

3PM–5:15PM: Holiday Performances

• 3:00–3:20PM: The Nutcracker by Atlanta Dance Theater
• 3:30–4:00PM: The Davis Academy
• 4:15–5:15PM: Run Katie Run

5:30–7:30PM: Bogey and the Viceroy

7PM: Tree Lighting
Join Santa for the countdown as we illuminate Avalon’s magnificent 40-foot Christmas tree!

Parking & Transportation

Complimentary parking is available in all decks. Valet service is offered on 3rd Street, and shuttle service runs from Gwinnett Technical College across the street. As parking fills quickly, we encourage guests to carpool or use a ride-share for a seamless experience.
