¡The Latin Switch!!

Welcome to ¡The Latin Switch!!, a latin dance experience like no other...learn to lead AND follow in the same class, and then stay to practice at our fabulous dance socials. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or a beginner, there's something for everyone at ¡The Latin Switch!!, because it's never too late to learn how to follow or lead!

For those of you starting out, try to join us at the beginning of our 4-class cyle starting on Sunday August 3rd 2025 at 6:30 at the Madison Community Arts Center and continuing on every other Sunday except Labor Day weekend (August 3rd, August 17th, September 7th, and Sepember21st). Just bring some slippery shoes (leave the hiking boots at home), a fun outfit, and GOOD VIBES~~~

Come solo or bring a friend, but whatever you do, don't miss out on this unforgettable event series - get your tickets in advance, and receive a $5 discount, or sign up for all four and get a $10 discount per event!! Or if you're a pro already, just show up to our social at 7:30pm for only $10 :-)

So mark your calendars and get ready to dance the night away ~~~

The Latin Switch Dance Code of Conduct:

1. Both women and men are encouraged to invite people to dance, and to reject a dance, no questions asked. Treat all dancers with courtesy and respect, regardless of their skill level or experience.

2. Ask if the person wants to follow, lead, or switch back and forth. But then, let your body do the talking!

3. The person leading is responsible for making sure there is enough space and avoiding collisions on the dance floor.

4. During class, if you want to remain with the same person and not rotate, move a little to the side.

5. If rotating during the social, usually wait until the end of the song to change partners, or kindly tell your partner you would like to end the dance early.

6. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to approach one of the teachers or personnel!
