How does it work?

It's a free event, no need to book, just show up any time between 7.30 and 11pm. The hosts will welcome you, but ask at the bar if you are unsure. Please buy a drink to support the venue.

No it's not. It's a community, so make sure you have people's consent before you contact them outside the meetup.

We have a lot of internationals from all around the world, some just moved into town, some have been here many years, we also have several locals and native speakers in case you want to make your English perfect.

Just be nice. The Language Swap is a safe space! There is zero tolerance for sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism and any other oppressive ideology. If you experience or see anything inappropriate please talk to the hosts.
