Event description

Description

The IoT revolution and new communication protocols offer increased connectivity and huge opportunity for offshore platforms; join us to hear what the implications are for you and your company.

The event is designed for offshore companies of all sizes, but particularly those who haven’t had time to catch up on what already can be achieved, and SMEs who might be able to meet the needs of the sector.

Attendees will have to opportunity to learn about internet based sensing technologies for offshore communications, including:

  • Non-intrusive sensing, e.g., retrofit/clamp on sensors that measure physical or chemical parameters from the infrastructure or equipment part
  • Intrusive devices for condition monitoring of systems
  • Portable/ autonomous devices including image acquisition and analysis and NDT instrumentation
  • Other IoT related technologies applicable to offshore environments

Featuring a number of speakers and interactive demo stands, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss topics further with the companies occupying the stands.
