The Implementation Science Leadership Programme, led by Dr. Arabella Scantlebury, is hosted within the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science (CEIS), University of Birmingham. Our programme targeta gaps within existing market provision, by providing introductory and advanced training and capacity development for academics at all career stages.

Join us at University of Birmingham on 30 January 2026 for our inaugural Implementation Science Conference.

We are devising a programme featuring leaders in implementation science from across the UK. Our programme will feature a keynote presentation by Prof Carl May and invited speaker Dr Laura Sheard which highlight how implementation science can be used within a range of research projects and topic areas. There will also be multiple opportunities for networking and an Early Career Research poster competition – Abstract submission opening summer 2025.

The event will also feature talks and Q&A from the Centre for Evidence and Implementation Science.
