Club Fox welcomes THE HEADLINERS ft. LISA AZZOLINO & JAMES O'SHAUGHNESSY w/MONA DENA & REDEMPTION BREAKING
The Headliners, with their 5 piece horn section, tight rhythm section, and 4 part harmonies bring a powerful punch covering the music of Chicago, Steely Dan, Van Morrison, Tower of Power, Brian Setzer Orchestra, and many more. Lisa will be joining us for set one for what should be an epic evening of great music.
Bay Area native Lisa Azzolino is a powerhouse singer/ songwriter, who brings an incredible blend of folk, rock, and soul with her original songs & covers. Her confessional lyrics, combined with her commanding, powerhouse vocals, forge a compelling act of vulnerability and raw strength.
Since 2016, Azzolino has shared the stage with Alejandro Escovedo at 2 sold-out shows, Sean Rowe, Megan Slankard, and has performed around the Bay including her sold-out headlining show at The Lost Church, Cafe Du Nord, Brick & Mortar Music Hall, Club Fox, & SF’s Noise Pop Festival (2018).
James O’Shaughnessy has been an active musician in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene for 10 years, playing and writing original music, as well as performing covers in different bands. Crafting his style and technical abilities in both singing and playing guitar, he’s been able to adapt to write and perform in multiple genres - including blues, rock, soul, R&B, and pop - entertaining music lovers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
Nate Walker: Redemption Breaking is a project by San Mateo recording artist, Nate Walker. It is shouting angst and singing Love out loud. It is speaking the truth with all its beauty and contradictions. It is 70s folk meets 80s punk, meets 90s grit, meets modern Americana. Most of all, it is a commitment to creating honest art, great music, and powerful live performances.
Mona Dena is a Redwood City vocalist and songwriter whose soulful style blends decades of experience with a love of storytelling through music. She has performed with jazz ensembles, duos, and vocal groups across the Bay Area, and her original album Running Home and follow-up singles can be found on Spotify and YouTube. A seasoned educator and the founder of Mo Music, Mona also directs a thriving private voice studio and nurtures the local music scene by hosting open mics and songwriter workshops, creating space for community and connection through music.
