Let's run and walk for a great cause-successful families! Support The Happy Black Parent's free community programming by getting outside, running or walking at your own pace and celebrating family togetherness.

Never ran a virtual race? It's easy! You pick the place and pace! Run or walk for one hour to make it official, and bring family and friends to make it fun! You can select to have your 'The Happy Black Parent' long sleeve tee shirt and goody bag mailed to you or pick them up at the opening season market of the Pittsburgh Community Market in southwest Atlanta (352 University Ave sw, Atlanta, ga 30310). Also, before or after your run or walk, check out our live stream to see how the other runners and walkers are doing and to upload optional selfie pictures of you or your group to encourage others!

Our free programs include Homeschool Meetup Mondays, where homeschooling and preschool families get much needed resources and opportunities to connect with each other, and our annual Children's Book Festival, that supports self published authors that bring diverse characters to life! Your participation in our virtual Run/Walk helps to make sure these important opportunities are available to those who need them the most!
