About the Play:

The Half is a bold and moving one act stage play that follows two young Black men, Abraham and Professor, as they sit on a porch looking out onto 14½ Street, wrestling with dreams, purpose, and survival.

Through conversation, tension, humor, and quiet hope, they confront what it means to be Black, brilliant, and boxed in.

Rooted in community, brotherhood, and truth, The Half offers an intimate look at what it takes to imagine something more, beyond the block, beyond circumstance.
