The Gullah Geechee: From the Lowcountry to Utah Tour
Did you know that many of the enslaved persons brought to Utah came from a culture known today as Gullah Geechee? Did you know that the first Black history exhibit ever to be in the Utah State Capitol is about the Gullah Geechee people, their culture, and their tie to Utah?
Through this tour you will learn the origin of the culture brought to Utah by the enslaved persons who were brought here.
