What will we be doing in the class?

Besides having the most fun ever? We will be going over some cookie facts, decorating techniques and you will be decorating your very own set of cookies that you will take home with you that day.

Question 2

Can I purchase an additional take-home kit?

Yes! Many parents or practicing cookiers purchase additional class kits to take home and re-do the classes. You can purchase an add-on kit during check-out. Your kit will be available at the end of your class - so don't forget it!

Question 3

What do we need to bring?

Nothing but a smile! Everything will be provided for you including my (rather tasty) sugar cookies. All you need to do is join us and have fun! Messy decorator? You can bring your own apron or just wear easy-to-wash clothing.

Question 4

What age is best for this cookie class?

Accepted Answer

Our classes are for almost any age! From youngsters to grandparents - come on in and have some cookie fun with us! Our in-person classes are great for 8+; however, kiddos under 14 will need a parent taking the class as well.

Question 5

Can just my child take the class?

Accepted Answer

We ask that all parents also attend the classes with their children under 14. For children over 14, you can drop off your child to take the class and return to pick-up in 1.5 hours.

Question 6

What will we bring home?

Accepted Answer

By the end of the class, you will have created a set of gorgeous cookies ready to dry for 24 - 48 hours in their own box. I’ll send you an Amazon link with a list of the tools we used in class so that you can recreate these cookies at home. And of course, you’ll have new skills, memories, and fun!

Can we sign up as individuals or a group?

You can sign up either as an individual, with a friend, or with a whole group. The more the merrier! We are limited to a total of 12  seats per class, so definitely sign up ASAP!

Question 8

We signed up for class but can't make it. What happens now?

Accepted Answer

:( We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 7 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation after the 7 days will be a class credit redeemable for up to 1 year from the credit issue date

No-Shows

Accepted Answer

If we do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, we won’t be able to offer you a refund or a credit regardless of whether you're sick. So please reach out to us if you’re feeling sick before class starts!

Question 10

Showing Symptoms Before 7 Days Out

Accepted Answer

If you’re sick prior to the 7-day refund cutoff, you can cancel for a full refund! And might we say thank you for quarantine-ing (is that a word??). To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps.

Question 11

Showing Symptoms After the 7 Day Cutoff

Accepted Answer

For any sickness symptoms prior to your class’s start time but after the 7-day refund policy, please email us before your class’s start time, and we’ll give you a credit for the next class!

Question 12

Cancellation of Add-On DIY Kit Before 7 Days Out

Accepted Answer

If you purchased an add-on take-home kit and email prior to the 7-day refund policy, we'll be happy to offer you either a full refund or a credit for both your class ticket and DIY kit.

Question 13

Cancellation of Class Ticket Add-On DIY Kit After 7 Days Out

Accepted Answer

If it's after the 7-day cut-off, but 3 days prior to class, we can offer you a class credit and DIY Kit credit. If it's beyond the three days, you may request a class credit; however, you'll need to send a family or friend to pick up your DIY kit from class. No refunds on already assembed DIY kits.

Question 14

Eventbrite Fees and Refunds

Accepted Answer

Your ticket price includes your Eventbrite fees; however, Eventbrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket for a refund, we'll give you a refund less the Eventbrite fee - since we don't get this back either. Eventbrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. :(

Question 15

Class Cancelation Policy

Accepted Answer

Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your Eventbrite fees.

Question 16

Class Minimum Attendance a & Cancelation

Accepted Answer

Classes with attendance below 6 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can either get a class credit for a future class (along with my apologies), or a full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance 3 days before the event so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans.
