The Great Fossil Fossick

Do you have a creative cretaceous-obsessed kiddo to entertain this school holidays? stomp over and sign them up for Goulburn Regional Art Gallery's Great Fossil Fossick!

Your child can choose from a selection of fossicked materials at the Gallery, or hunt down their own treasure to bring in from home, and learn how to create their very own plaster fossils this School Holidays!

What would make a good fossil?

• Natural materials such as sticks, leaves etc (washed to remove insects and dried beforehand).
• seashells and interesting rocks.
• their favourite plastic dino.
• plastic toy insects and animals.
• faux leaves and plants.

This workshop is for Primary School aged children, aged 5+.

All children should attend in clothing that can get messy and wearing enclosed shoes.
