The Gauntlet Fit Obstacle Course (GFOC) is an exhilarating and demanding fitness competition designed for both individual participants and two-person teams, showcasing a multifaceted approach to physical endurance and strength. Competitors engage in a series of rigorous challenges, including a bench press, ladder drills, pull-ups, a three-mile bicycle ride, farmers walks, tire flips, and various weightlifting exercises, culminating in a one-mile run. Each challenge is meticulously structured to assess different aspects of physical fitness, including muscular endurance, cardiovascular stamina, and overall agility.

Participants have the opportunity to compete for a range of prizes, with top finishers in each category—Men, Women, and Mixed teams—earning medals and cash rewards of varying amounts up tob $150 depending on overall placement. The registration fees are reasonably set, encouraging widespread participation, while offering an early bird special for participants that register in advance.

Fit23’s goal is to support Pittsburgh and the surrounding communities with an accountability-driven Wellness Program to inspire healthier lifestyles by offering FREE wellness sessions. Below are the descriptions of the wellness categories that Fit23 is focused on:
