The G-Strings: A Revolution in Pumps

“Revolution in Pumps” is an immersive dance experience that physicalizes what it means to be shameless and free. The G-Strings dance, scream, and revolt all while wearing stiletto pumps. The Pump serves as an extension of the leg, a wand, weapon, instrument, purse, and sacred symbol of alchemy and enchantment. 

The show combines traditional elements of vaudeville theater with modern elements of contemporary dance, experimental imagery, playful striptease, wild costumes, and so much more!

To be a G-String is to seek change in the world through liberated movement and provocative performance. In a society that discourages disruption, our creative process is rooted in exactly that. We see our disruption as a path to truth, joy, and shamelessness. Through our own confrontation with shame, we can begin to dance through the discomfort and alchemize it into liberation. Not only is this a show, it is a lifestyle that we live every day. Each day, we choose to disrupt places of restraint because we feel a responsibility to do so.
