A practical hands-on design and construction workshop for students, as part of the Bartlett School of Architecture Summer Show 2025.

This second Student Workshop is hands-on and physical, building a regenerative materials pavilion, (based on student designs from Workshop 1) for Global Generation’s Natural Materials Library for Build Fest 2025 at The Story Garden, King's Cross. Open to all students.

10am-4pm Saturday 5th July 2025

At Global Generation’s Story Garden, Ossulston Street NW1 1DF

10.00am-4.00pm Practical construction workshop to build the Natural Materials Pavilion, led by Resource 12, and Glenn Mcdonald, Hannah Burrough and Alice Hardy of Global Generation, and Alex Dhesi, Build-CC/Bartlett.

Lunch and refreshments provided.

Bring sketchbooks, tape measures, sturdy boots/very strong shoes, weather appropriate clothing.

We will contact you after booking for any dietary or access needs.

Hosted and organised by the BSA's AIS BSc students, BSA Society and Founders Keepers, led by Resource 12 (AIS/Architecture BSc alumni materials reuse CIC), in collaboration with charity Global Generation, Alex Dhesi (Bartlett Institute of Natural Resources, Build-CC), materials reuse not-for-profit ReCollective, and StuCAN, ACAN’s student climate action network.
