2 practical hands-on design and construction workshops for students on 28th June and 5th July as part of the Bartlett School of Architecture Summer Show 2025.

This first exciting Student Design Workshop will create proposals for a regenerative materials structure, to be built on site in Workshop 2 on 5th July, to display Global Generation’s Natural Materials Library for Build Fest 2025 at The Story Garden, King's Cross. Open to all students.

Workshop 1 - 10am-4pm Saturday 28th June 2025

Meet at Global Generation’s Story Garden, Ossulston Street NW1 1DF

10.00am-11.00am Introduction to the Build Fest 2025 site and design principles for the pavilion.

Move to Room 6.02, Bartlett School of Architecture, 22 Gordon Street WC1H 0QB

Lunch and refreshments provided.

Bring sketchbooks, tape measures, sturdy footwear, weather appropriate clothing.

Hosted and organised by the BSA's AIS BSc students, BSA Society and Founders Keepers, led by Resource 12 (AIS/Architecture BSc alumni materials reuse CIC), in collaboration with charity Global Generation, Alex Dhesi (Bartlett Institute of Natural Resources, Build-CC), materials reuse not-for-profit ReCollective, and StuCAN, ACAN’s student climate action network.
