Course Desciption

Until recently, being able to rapidly provide predictable, functional, and esthetic outcomes was but a dream. It’s now entirely possible with the help of scanning technologies, 3D printing, and a little bit of machine learning.

This rapid-fire course will walk you through fully digital implant prosthetic solutions made possible by Nobel Biocare’s curated product offerings. Course attendees will learn how to perform any post-surgical provisional successfully on demand, from single units and removable solutions to complete arch restorations.

Learning Objectives

  • Present evidence-based information on how to successfully operate workflows through scanning, design, additive manufacturing, and current advancements/limitations.
  • Provide an overview of how to control the quality of scanning and3D printing products, as well as common misconceptions.
  • Discuss the overarching evidence base for current restorative applications in prosthetically driven digital implant workflows.

Speakers:

Dr. Stephanie Yeung is a prosthodontist and tech enthusiast. She completed her dental degree and specialty certificate in prosthodontics at the University of Southern California. After a decade of private practice in Los Angeles, CA, she became a digital workflow nomad in Greater Seattle, WA.

Dr. Yeung readily adopts a spectrum of technologies that help minimize geographic boundaries and optimize patient outcomes in her current practice. She also lectures internationally and publishes in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks on topics within implant dentistry and/or digital dentistry.
