Event Information
Description
The Fresh Connection is a supply chain simulation based on the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model. It focuses on the physical movement of goods in a business environment that includes, purchasing, operations, sales, supply chain, and finance in the form of an income statement.
We invite you to attend a complimentary one-day online educator workshop for The Fresh Connection.
In this one-day online educator workshop of The Fresh Connection, Professors and Lecturers who are interested to learn more about, or use business simulation in their courses will learn:
- How the simulation works
- How to integrate The Fresh Connection in a course that includes a course syllabus
- How to enhance the learning effects for the participants
- How to evaluate the participant’s results and the learning effects
- How other professors have used the simulation in their classrooms
Participants in teams will complete three rounds of The Fresh Connection. In between the rounds, the Supply Chain themes, the relevant theoretical frameworks, and the learning dynamics will be explained. We will discuss how to integrate the simulation in your program, discuss and evaluate the results, and how to maximize the learning effects.
Professors who complete the training will be certified to teach the Fresh Connection for two years and are eligible to compete with their teams towards the global student competition.
Register here by May 8 to ensure license availability. We will send the login information the week prior, with a reminder. You will leave with a comprehensive evaluation, and be empowered to introduce and facilitate the simulation in your program.
