The Foundry Sings - Beyond Karaoke!

The rafters of the 160 year old Stone Hall at the Miners Foundry Cultural Center will ring on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.! Doors open at 5:00 pm and the singing begins at 6:00 pm. This month, we’re having fun with Beyond Karaoke!

Music Director, Rod Baggett, with the vocal assistance of Robbie Merchant and Heather Grove and guitarists Jonathan Meredith and Tim Yamauchi, will lead voices unified in song.

This unique countywide experience aims to gather people of all ages and singing levels under one roof to share in the power of song. The Foundry Sings is inspired by the popular Choir! Choir! Choir!, a weekly drop-in singing event based in Toronto, Canada, which has attracted professional musicians such as Patti Smith, David Byrne and Rufus Wainwright to sing with the group.

This installment of The Foundry Sings will feature a selection of popular songs with a karaoke twist!

Foundry Sings music director, Rod Baggett, will follow the new format of singing multiple songs, some with heart and a little harmony and others sung simply with a lot of heart. The song lyrics will be provided.
