The Festive Forest at Banner Ranch Julian

The Festive Forest is an approx. 1/2 mile Holiday Lights Walk, located at historic Banner Ranch (Banner Store), about 7 miles from Main St. Julian. Our orchard area is decorated with Christmas lights, inflatables, and more! Wear comfortable walking shoes, The Festive Forest is in a natural environment, no open-toe shoes please. Fun for the whole family! Walking trail is flat, but uneven in some areas with soft dirt. Stroller and wheelchair accessible if able to go on dirt.

Snacks, drinks, hot cocoa, bottled Julian cider and various beer available for purchase in the General Store/saloon and may be consumed while walking The Festive Forest.

4:30pm-8:30pm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in December (closed Christmas Day). Weather permitting, since The Festive Forest is completely outdoors, we must close during bad weather, feel free to call 760-237-0046 to check if open. If rained out, tickets can be used for another night.

Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Banner General Store in front during open hours, cash and credit card accepted.

Make a trip of it, and spend the night in one of our tiny houses, covered wagons, or camping sites! We feature a historic General Store built in 1872 with Lucky Lou’s Saloon, serving beer, with coin op pool tables. As well visit our friendly pet burros Elvis & Jerry Lee, or explore nature with easy access to miles of hiking trails! Come on down to Banner, where adventure awaits!
