THE FAMILY VISION EXPERIENCE (in-person)
Overview
You don't want to spoil them, but you don't know how to say "no" without guilt.
You didn't grow up talking about money. And now you're raising kids in a completely different world.
Your kids see their friends getting everything—the $200 sneakers, the fifth travel tournament, the latest iPhone—and you're stuck explaining why your family does things differently.
You want them to be grateful, generous, and grounded—not entitled.
But here's the problem:
You're making it up as you go.
Every purchase feels like a negotiation. Every "no" comes with guilt. And you and your spouse aren't always on the same page about what to say yes to—or why.
You're not a bad parent. You just don't have a framework.
What if you had a Family Constitution?
Imagine this:
Your 14-year-old asks for the $200 sneakers.
Instead of fighting about it (or caving because you feel guilty), you pause. You look at your Family Constitution—the one you created together as a family—and you ask:
"Does this align with our values?"
The answer is clear. The decision is easy. And your kid understands why.
That's what this workshop gives you.
Not a lecture. Not a budget spreadsheet. Not a parenting hack.
A framework—something you can point to, revisit, and be proud of.
Something most families never take the time to create.
You will.
By the end of this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll have:
✅ A draft Family Constitution (written on butcher paper, ready to refine at home)
✅ The Discernment Quadrant—a decision-making tool you'll use all year long
✅ Clarity on your Top 3 Family Values (and whether your spending, schedule, and attention actually reflect them)
✅ A framework for talking about money with your kids—without the lectures or the guilt
✅ Pride that you took the time to do this (because most families never will)
This isn't a New Year's resolution. It's a playbook your family will use for years.
Who This Is For:
This workshop is for you if:
✅ You're a parent of middle or high school-aged kids (ages 10–18)
✅ You're a first-generation wealth builder (you didn't grow up with money, but your kids are growing up with more than you did)
✅ You want to raise kids who are grateful, generous, and grounded—not entitled
✅ You're tired of second-guessing every purchase (and fighting with your spouse about it)
✅ You're ready to stop "winging it" and start leading your family with intention
This workshop is NOT for you if:
❌ You're looking for investment advice or a financial plan (Julia is a money mindset mentor, not a financial advisor)
❌ You want a quick fix (this is about creating a framework, not a one-time solution)
❌ You're not willing to do the work (there's independent reflection time—bring your honesty and a pen)
Meet Your Facilitator:
Julia Myers, PharmD, MBA
Money Mindset Mentor | Mom of 5 | Founder of Generational Wisdom
Julia didn't grow up talking about money—but she's spent the last decade teaching families how to build wealth with wisdom.
As a pharmacist, MBA, and mom of five, she knows what it's like to navigate the tension between wanting to give your kids opportunities and not wanting to spoil them.
She's not a financial advisor—she's a framework builder. And in this workshop, she'll give you the tools to turn your family's values into a playbook you can use for years.
Most families never take the time to do this. You will.
This isn't about perfection. It's not about having all the answers.
It's about giving your family a framework—something to point to when the questions get hard, when the requests pile up, when you're not sure what to say yes or no to.
By the end of this workshop, you'll have a draft Family Constitution.
Something you can refine. Revisit. Be proud of.
Something your kids will remember—and maybe even pass on to their own families one day.
It starts with 2.5 hours on December 28.
