About this event

Spirituality • Islam

The fall of the tyrants recounts the life of Prophet Musa aleyhisalam from his birth to the Exodus, relying on the Quran and its interpretations, and considering the vast and compelling web of evidence from Egyptian history and archeology that, because of clues given in Qur’an, point to the most probable physical realities of the events. It is told with frequent references to Quranic verses which are recited in context by Osama al Shurafa and translated as they occur in the narrative; qasidas sung by children; and sound effects. Researched, written, and narrated by Maryam Sinclair and corroborated by Sheikh Ali Hani of Amman, Jordan.
