The Experiment is a new improv community event at The Lab. It combines a Show / Jam / & Sample Class.
The Free Sample class is a chance for anyone who has never done improv to try it out for just a bite for free! The sample happens from 7:30-8:00, is lots of fun, and (as a bonus enticement to try something new) the 8:00 show is free to anyone who participates in the sample class!
This September: The Duct Tape Plumbers headline and a class recital of our most recent level one improvisers will open for them.
The Experiment Jam will split improvisers (of every level of experience) randomly into two groups "The Control Group" and "The Independent Variable" by lottery. Each never-before-seen group will have a chance to perform a full set of longform improv with no rehersal and lots of inventive energy. Come see the wild results!
Age recommended: 14+. Some mature topics and language are expected.
