The Empathy BlendDeveloping Empathy, Perspective-Taking & Understanding How to Connect with Others on a Deeper Level
Join us for the first session of Brew & Bloom, a biweekly emotional wellness residency hosted by Inner Matters at Sip & Sonder in Inglewood.
This week, we’re leaning into connection.
Empathy is more than just feeling for someone — it’s learning how to truly see, hear, and understand others. In this workshop, we’ll explore the difference between empathy and sympathy, practice perspective-taking, and reflect on how to show up in relationships without losing ourselves.
Through storytelling, journaling, and group dialogue, you’ll build emotional awareness and learn practical tools for more compassionate communication — in friendships, family, work, and beyond.
Come sip something warm, slow down, and connect with yourself and others in a meaningful way.
What to Expect:
- A welcoming, no-pressure vibe
- A brief guided activity and creative journaling
- Group discussion and reflection
- Take-home prompts to keep blooming between sessions
- Drinks available for purchase before and after the session
