The inaugural experiment of the artist collective gadget_gurls, established by Emma Magidson, Tyler McManus, and hailey nathel, the dollhouse is a pop-up art exhibition to be held this September and October using a family home in Water Mill, NY. the dollhouse operates as a giant sculpture, installation, alternative/mobile gallery, and studio space.
30% of all proceeds will be donated to Pure Vision Arts Gallery, Manhattan's first specialized art studio and exhibition space for artists with autism and other developmental challenges. 70% of all art sale proceeds will go directly to the artists. We will not be taking a gallery cut.
Suggested entrance fee: $5 - $35. Pay what you can. Please consider supporting even if you cannot make it. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. FREE TRANSPORTATION: White Star Limousines (https://www.whitestarlimo.com/) will run a shuttle service from Manhattan to the dollhouse and back throughout opening night, Saturday, September 15th. Shuttles will depart from Café 31 on 220 W 31st Street to the dollhouse in Water Mill, NY at 3pm, 4pm, and 5pm; departures back from the dollhouse to Café 31 at 8:15pm, 9:15pm, and 10:15pm.
