The NTS Wynkoop Center for Women in Leadership is hosting a Zoom call focused on giving people tools to engage in conflict faithfully as Christians.
Paul urged the church in Rome to do all in its power to live at peace with everyone (chapter 12). That’s a tall order these days, but there are skills we can learn and practices we can strengthen in pursuit of Christian peace-ableness. Join us for a one-hour webinar as Dr. Sarah Coleson-Derck and Dr. Julene Tegerstrand explore the intersection of spiritual formation, conflict, and compassionate nonviolence. In a society being torn apart by conflict, Christian discipleship must include the inner work of developing the capacities for peacemaking: imagination, emotional wisdom, courage, compassionate listening, and nonviolent communication. Discover practical resources and practices for those ready to pursue holiness through the way of peace.
