As the season shifts and the days grow shorter, our bodies and minds also begin to transition. The Descent: Grounding Through Change is a co-ed community gathering led by Dr. Paul Agui and Bee of Contained Stems, created to help you slow down, reconnect, and integrate what this season is asking of you.

Through conversation, movement, and guided reflection, we’ll explore what it means to find balance in times of change — personally, collectively, and within the natural cycles around us. Together, we’ll pause to reflect on what we’ve learned so far this year, what’s ready to be released, and how to move forward with more grounded awareness and connection.

This gathering is rooted in ancestral wisdom, community support, and practical tools for nervous system regulation and emotional integration — designed for anyone seeking a space to breathe, connect, and restore.

No prior experience with spiritual or wellness practices is needed. Just come as you are.

Guided grounding and breathwork to settle the body and nervous system
Community dialogue around balance, transition, and what the season is teaching us Reflective journaling + partner conversation to explore what’s ready to be released
Simple collective ritual honoring the shift of the season and our shared humanity
Integration moment to close — anchoring gratitude and next steps for mindful living

You’ll leave feeling more connected — to yourself, to others, and to the rhythm of the season.

This is an outdoor experience- please come equipped with blankets, jackets should you get cold, bug spray, journals, and anything else to make you feel comfortable. Please email us bee@containedstems.com or paul.agui13@gmail.com to be added to the group chat for community updates.

We ask for a contribution to the Earth Altar to show gratitude and thanks for the earth- fruits, florals, herbs, plants, candles, are appreciated.
