The DAN Trail Stewardship w/ PAL

By United Way of the Piedmont

Overview

Join PAL as they support our local community by caring for local trails to promote and preserve their beauty.

Event Overview:

Join PAL (Play. Advocate. Live Well.) in cleaning a local trail - an essential part of our shared spaces. Volunteeers will be provided with gloves and various hand tools (such as small saws, trash bags, trash pickers) to clear ivy, privet, Elaeagnus, and other invasive plant species that threaten our trees and trails. Volunteers will also help keep our trails clean by removing trash and debris. By maintaining these trails, we ensure they remain safe and vibrant spaces for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
