The Creating Hour

Everyone! We are an inclusive, welcoming space for artists of all mediums. We will have time to work on our own projects, and our only limitation is that you should bring something you can work on at a small table. So maybe not a huge canvas, but a small oil painting or sketch book!

A journal/ notebook, a project you can work on at a small table, and noise-cancelling headphones if you use them.

That's fine! We'll have journal prompts and exercises to get the ideas flowing! We'll also have creative assignments to can work on during our free time.

Each gathering features journal prompts, exercises to help you build creative habits, structured time to work on your project, and a group show or tell.

"The Creating Hour" is designed for people who want to be more creative, need accountability on a project, or are reentering their creative practice. We create a safe space to play with ideas and build community.

Come! We welcome artists of all levels and mediums. Most of us do our art casually in our free time. "The Creating Hour" is simply a space for all of us to build community and hold ourselves accountable.
