The Coolest Creative Mixer

The Coolest Creative Mixer is your chance to plug directly into Waco’s creative network. We’re gathering inside the Civic Theatre for an evening built around real connection, conversation, and celebrating the momentum shaping our arts community. Filmmakers, artists, performers, designers, writers, and other creative professionals will have the chance to meet each other, talk about the craft, and build new relationships across disciplines.

We’re also taking time to celebrate a major win for Waco Indie and the energy it brings to our film community. On top of that, we’re introducing a new gift to Waco’s creatives. It’s a tool designed to give local artists national visibility, help connect them with art patrons, and make it easier to discover grant opportunities and access valuable resources. It’s a step toward strengthening how Waco creatives support their careers and reach wider audiences.

With light bites, wine, and beer, plus full access to explore the theatre, the night is all about creating space for connection and celebrating the work happening here. A curated slideshow of past events sets the tone and highlights the people moving our scene forward.
