10AM - The Spicy 8 Mile trail run through Overend Moutain Park begins taking runners on an epic tour of some of Durango's best in-town singltrack, complete with a summit of the infamous Hogsback seen from all over town! It's like a mini-mountain summit in city limits! Prizes for the fastest, the lastest and men and women in the middle of the pack.

11AM - The Chili Chase Chili Cookoff - Chili chefs from Durango and beyond will bring their best kept secret recipes for the taste testers to enjoy in a chili festival celebration right in the parking lot of Backountry Experience.

2PM - The people will decied who will go home with the legendary Chili Chase Champoion Cookoff belt.
