Overview

How can the wisdom and spirituality of Celtic Christians guide us today?

The Celtic Way: Discovering Christ in our Midst

The rediscovery of the Celtic world has been an extraordinary revelation for many Christians in recent years, an opening up of the depths and riches within our own tradition….” - Esther DeWaal, The Celtic Way of Prayer, p. ix.

This three-session seminar/workshop will introduce the fundamentals of Celtic Christian culture, history, theology, spirituality, and engagement. In three evening Zoom sessions, we will consider the following:

January 5: Celtic Christian history and culture

January 12: Celtic spirituality and prayer

January 19: Celtic mission and engagement

The cost of this workshop offsets the operating costs of the Stevenson School for Ministry. SSFM is dedicated to the lifelong learning and discernment processes of all Episcopalians in the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania and beyond. This workshop has a price tier option. Whether a complimentary ticket, $25, $50, or $100 fee fits your life - everyone will receive the same experience.
