Sessions will be held online. Make sure to register using your UCR authenticated Zoom account. Only UCR authenticated Zoom users will be admitted.

These drop-in sessions are co-organized by UCR GradQuant and the UCR Library.

Take your computer coding to the next level. Whether you are a novice interested in learning to code or an experienced programmer comfortable with many languages and platforms, this is the place for you to learn from and share with others. Come talk with us about a variety of coding languages and topics, data management, data cleaning, data visualization, and data science methodologies.

Hacky Hours is open to all members of the UCR research community, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, staff, and postdoctoral researchers.

Dates with adjusted availability:

  • October 25 - Kat Koziar only available 10 am - 10:45 am, Matt Arthur with GradQuant still holding their session.
  • November 22 - GradQuant is closed during Thanksgiving week, Kat Koziar still holding their session.
