A three-part workshop series designed to help small businesses and nonprofits build a clear, consistent visual brand—and actually use it confidently inside Canva. Whether you’re starting from scratch or trying to level up your DIY designs, this series gives you the structure, skills, and shortcuts to create on-brand graphics with ease.

Across three focused sessions, you’ll define your visual identity, design with purpose for different platforms, and learn how to use Canva’s Brand Kit to streamline your entire workflow. By the end, you’ll be able to create cohesive, professional marketing materials that strengthen brand recognition and save you serious time.

Jan 13 – More than a Logo: Creating a Visual Brand Guide in Canva
Build the foundation of your visual identity with strategic fonts, colors, and images.

Feb 10 – Smart Social Graphics: Design with Purpose Across Platforms
Learn how to create scroll-stopping, on-brand graphics that can be used on multiple platforms

April 14 – Canva Brand Kit: Build Brand Recognition & Design Faster
Bring it all together by setting up and using the Canva Brand Kit to stay consistent and speed up your design process.

Requirements

• Wifi enabled laptop or tablet (if using a tablet, please download the Canva app)
• A Canva account (free or pro)
• General knowledge of Canva (If you can search for templates, change photos and fonts in a template, and upload a photo, you're in!)

About the Instructor

Nicole Holmes has spent 20 years working with businesses and nonprofits to develop logos and marketing materials tailored to their brand. After growing up in a family of entrepreneurs (and being one herself!), she knows the struggles and joys of running a small business, of building a dream. Sometimes YOU HAVE to be the graphic designer and she's ready to help you do it better.
