On June 8th, we launched our park Pilates "The Calm Core Series." Each month we will explore different parks and build upon this vibrant and lovely wellness community, supporting one another on our wellness journeys and prioritizing mindful movement and breath work practices together.
"The Calm Core Series" is an outdoor Pilates experience for all bodies and backgrounds. Rooted in strength, presence, and community.
Each event includes:
- 2-5 minute Grounding & 50-minute Pilates Class
- Followed by a 10 minute Guided Meditation, Centering Breath
- 25 minutes of Intentional Connection, Community, and Mindful Core Connection
Grounded in inclusive wellness and collective care, this class combines the dynamic energy of Pilates with restorative breathwork and space for community building.
Each session is an invitation to return to your body, connect with your breath, and celebrate strength — individually and together. Whether you’re new to movement or a seasoned practitioner, this experience honors every pace and every person.
We’ll move together, breathe deeply, and affirm our wellness as a birthright — all under the sun, in the heart of San Francisco.

What to Expect:

Meet Michelle J. Rivera, Founder of Calicalma AKA @Yogimishrivera
With over a decade of experience supporting executives and leading people-first workplace initiatives, I’ve built my career around creating environments where individuals and teams can thrive. From designing inclusive office experiences to driving culture-building programs, I’ve always centered my work on how people feel—at work, in life, and within themselves.
Calicalma was born from a desire to deepen that mission. After years of working in high-performance environments, I turned to wellness practices to recover from burnout and find greater alignment. Today, I bring these two worlds together—bridging workplace strategy with holistic healing to support individuals, leaders, and organizations in cultivating more mindful, equitable, and sustainable ways of working.
As a workplace wellness consultant, lifestyle coach, and Hot Pilates teacher-in-training, I offer services that blend movement, mindfulness, and leadership development. I partner with executives on culture and wellness strategy—and also provide hands-on training for Office and Workplace Coordinators or Front Office professionals looking to grow in their careers and elevate the employee experience.
My mission is to make wellness accessible to all and to serve as an accountability partner for those seeking balance, clarity, and growth—whether in the boardroom or on the mat and to create a global culture where workplace excellence and personal wellness are inseparable—and accessible to all.
