Buddette was always supposed to be the main character but you’ve probably never heard of her. Her famous elven ex-boyfriend left her for Zoey Deschanel and a certain holiday franchise cut her from the story entirely. Since then, she’s been holed up in Morningside Heights Columbia University student housing. No, she’s not enrolled. She’s been sifting through trauma, boy problems, and an abandoned dream of stardom. However, Buddette didn’t move to the city to be someone’s sidekick...she came to become the songstress of her generation. Now, in a one-night-only cabaret comeback, she’s ready to reclaim her voice, her dreams, and her sparkle. Will this Adam’s Rib character finally find her own original perspective?

Clarice Reiner (Buddette) is a Colorado-born, New York-based actor, comedian, and filmmaker. She holds a BFA in Acting from Boston University and is the co-founder of Farmhands Productions, an independent theatre and film company dedicated to creating absurd and original work.

When she’s not pretending to be an elf, Clarice can be found orchestrating elaborate pranks, taking long walks across the city, and wallowing in existentialism.

Endless thanks to Mom and Dad.

Film credits include Bienvenue au Paris (Short Film, Lead, with Vincent Macaigne), Franz (Feature Film, Supporting, Reflekt Films), and Showcase! (NYU Thesis Film, with Delancey Williams).
