Participants will reinforce their knowledge of early brain development and the science behind the national Vroom initiative. Participants will also develop a deeper understanding of how brain building strategies are easily embedded into Child Care Resources and Referral (CCR&R) outreach and services.

Training Objectives:

1 . Reinforce participant's knowledge of early brain development and the science behind the national Vroom initiative.

2 . Discuss and identify executive functions and how they develop in the brain.

3 . Discuss the Importance of early relational health, and provide framework to promote healthy relationships between parents/providers and children.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
