Introducing a virtual, 3-day intensive of THE BIT LIST: The Musical by Taylor Louderman, Hannah Kloepfer, and Nat Zegree, culminating in a fully-cast table read with the creative team.

We will meet three times on Zoom:

Session #1 | Wednesday, Sept 16 | 5-7:30 PM EST | Welcome and Scene Work

(be prepared to stay until 7:30PM; it's okay if you have to leave at 7PM!)

Session #2 | Friday, Sept 18| 5pm- 7pm EST | Music Rehearsals

Session #3 | Monday, Sept 21 | 5pm- 7pm EST | Rehearsal + Performance (Virtual Table Read)

How it works:

Preparation: Once registered, you will receive audition materials, and students send in a self-tape audition due the day before we start.

**We will cast the show prior to our first session.**

Students will need to download ZOOM on computer or phone.

Between sessions: In addition to rehearsing the show, we will be forming a small community and encourage students to be in touch. We will be teaching important self-tape skills and asking students to submit recordings of their solos in various musical numbers. We use these videos to edit together a "music video" for each number, which we distribute as the session's cast recording.

Session 1: We spend the first session getting to know each other, "stumbling" through the script, stopping and starting to do scene work and character work.

Session 2: Music rehearsals. Tracks will be sent out ahead of time to learn the material.

**Following this session, students will make their solo self-tapes, and we will edit "cast recordings" from these for the performance.

Session 3: The day of the show! After a rehearsal from 5-5:30pm, we will do a full table read of the bit list at 5:30pm, followed by a talk-back. We will send you the recording to share with family and friends.

About the show:

The bit list is an all new [zoom + (mus)ical] following Blake, Morgan and Taylor from PITCH IN (& a whole new cast of characters) at the elite iceBERG academy, a coding camp run by the Elon Schnuckerberg. They're excited to meet other snerds just like them, but soon after arriving, the bit list is released. It's a camp-wide roster labeling students as either 0 (losers) or 1 (cool). By the end of summer, rumors will swirl, friendships will be tested, and they'll learn what it really takes to be top of the class.

Note: We have intentionally given characters gender-neutral names to encourage gender neutral casting for your unique community.
