Overview

An Evening of Dickensian Mischief by the Sea

Step into the shadows of Victorian London at The Artful Dodger’s After Dark, an exclusive nighttime experience at the Galveston Historic Seaport. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ most charming rogue, this evening invites you to revel in a world of firelight, fog, and festive mischief.

As twilight falls on the waterfront, the historic tall ship glows with dramatic uplighting, while fog rolls across the dock to set the scene. Gather around crackling fire barrels as fire dancers ignite the night and aerialists take to the silks high above the pier, filling the air with daring feats and breathtaking spectacle.

A onsite cash bar will be available, perfect for toasting with fellow revelers as you slip into the Dodger’s world of daring, delight, and Dickensian revelry.

EVENT DETAILS:

  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets do not include festival admission.
  • Walk-up tickets will not be available. Tickets are only available in advance online.
  • Although the seaport is wheelchair accessible, the deck of the ELISSA is not. There are steps leading up to the ship from the pier.
