Do I need to register or buy tickets?

No. Entry is completely free and no registration is required. Just walk in anytime between 10:30 AM and 4:30 PM.

Can I come and go anytime?

Yes, it's a drop-in event. You are welcome to stay 10 minutes or the whole day.

Question 3

Will the tatami mat making happen at specific times?

Accepted Answer

No. The master crafts the full tatami mat continuously from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You can watch the process at any time, and he will happily pause whenever visitors want to learn hands-on wreath or coaster making.

Question 4

Are the hands-on sessions (wreath & coaster) scheduled?

No fixed schedule. Whenever a few people show interest, the master stops mat making and teaches a small group lesson starts immediately.

Is there a tea ceremony?

Only on Saturday 6 December at The Chancery Hotel (Walton Room). The 30 November and 7 December events at GRIPS India do not include tea ceremony.

Can children attend?

Yes, children are very welcome and can participate in wreath/coaster making under adult supervision.

Will Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) costumes be available?

Accepted Answer

Yes, character costumes are available for trying on and taking photos at the event location (30 Nov & 7 Dec).
