The Art of Designing Connection: Part III of IV - Anchoring Rituals
Overview
The Art of Designing Connection
Part III of IV: Anchoring Rituals - The Spaces that Hold Us
This class is the third in a four-part journey through sound, light, space, and energy. Each session stands independently while building toward a fuller understanding of the sensory language of connection.
In Part III, we turn our attention to the power of space — the rooms we enter, the corners we claim, the structures that steady us, and the environments that shape our internal landscapes. This session explores how physical and symbolic spaces influence grounding, connection, and the experience of being held by the places we inhabit.
You’ll engage in hands-on spatial exercises, creative layout play, and guided prompts that help you understand how space holds you, those around you, and how you can intentionally design the spaces that support your relationships with yourself and others.
Session IV will be posted soon.
Anchoring Rituals is an immersive, hands-on exploration of the environments that hold us. We will talk about how layout, placement, and structure affect the way we feel grounded, and how surroundings influence our internal landscape and the connections we form. In this session, we will work with arrangement, boundaries, pathways, and the subtle ways physical spaces shape our emotional experience.
You will explore a blend of spatial experiments, simple ritual design, sensory mapping, and guided prompts that help you interact with your environment with intention.
This class is part art study, part curiosity lab, part mindful connection practice. No experience is needed. Just bring a willingness to notice, settle, and explore the spaces around you.
Come explore the places that hold us, and stay after class for refreshments and a grounding walk if you would like to continue the evening.
